【Iku Roshi】Shimotsui Shipping Agent Museum& Octopus meal

Views: time(s)

A recreation of a port town that thrived in the Edo period (1603 - 1867)! Enjoy nostaligic atmosphere and octopus cuisine just below the Great Seto Bridge!

The Shimotsui area in Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture was bustled as a dock for cargo ships and pilgrims coming to worship Kompira, a god of merchant sailors. The “Shimotsui Shipping Agent Museum” brings that town back to life, with exhibits on life back then.
